TACOMA COUPLE’S 30TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY BECOMES EVEN MORE MEMORABLE AFTER $190,000 HIT 5 CASHPOT WIN WITH TICKET FROM HER FAVORITE MACHINE

A Tacoma resident is celebrating a $190,000 win after playing Hit 5. She purchased the winning ticket at Fred Meyer in Federal Way (33702 21st Ave SW).

The winner has won smaller amounts before, which have made her superstitious. “I play at one particular store at one particular machine,” she said. She also had some advice for those looking to win like her. “I have the app on my phone which is really helpful. Any time I’m going to buy scratch tickets I use the app.”

As for what she plans to do with her winnings, the winner said she is excited to celebrate her 30th wedding anniversary with her husband. “We were already planning on going out of town, but this will make it all the more pleasant.”
