A Centralia resident received an incredible holiday surprise from a “Triple 777” Scratch ticket he purchased at Market Street Market (1249 S Market Blvd, Chehalis, WA 98532) on Tuesday, November 22. The man won $200,000 in prize money.

When asked what he plans to do with the prize money, the winner told Washington’s Lottery officials he’s going to spend it on things that matter. For him, that includes putting some of the money toward a down payment for a new home and putting the rest into a college fund for his girlfriend’s child.

“Money isn’t everything, but it definitely helps,” said the winner. “That’s why I only plan on spending my prize on the important things that will better the lives of those close to me.”
