IT’S DÉJÀ VU FOR $50,000 LOTTERY WINNER FROM BELLINGHAM

A man from Bellingham is $50,000 richer after purchasing a winning “$40 Million Mega Multiplier” Scratch ticket while at a local Haggen (2900 Woburn St, Bellingham, WA 98226).

“I scratched my ticket in the parking lot of the grocery store and when I saw it was a winner, I immediately went back inside to check with a cashier,” said the winner. “When I walked up to the register, I realized the clerk was the same woman who confirmed my last big Lottery win years ago!”

The man told Washington’s Lottery officials his last Lottery win wasn’t nearly as big as the $50,000 prize he recently took home, but he remembers the clerk checking his ticket and celebrating in the check-out line when they found out it was worth $1,000.

For now, the winner doesn’t have any plans for his prize money. He plans to put it in the bank and save it for a rainy day.

Proceeds from Washington’s Lottery benefit the Washington Opportunity Pathways Account, providing grants to college students statewide. To learn more about Washington’s Lottery, its beneficiaries and to review all up-to-date winning numbers, please visit www.walottery.com.
