Powerball Jackpot Rolls to $192 Million

Washington residents, let your imaginations run wild—the Powerball jackpot has reached $192 million!

That's enough money to purchase a personal hot air balloon and a vineyard to fly over (approx. $65,000 combined) for 2,953 people—that's just about every other person in Orting (approx. population 6,872)!

The jackpot grew after the drawing on Saturday, May 31. The next drawing will take place on Wednesday, June 4, at 7:59 p.m. PST.

Powerball tickets are available for purchase at Washington's Lottery retail locations until 6:45 p.m. PST on Wednesday, June 4, and will resume at 8:01 p.m. PST that evening. You can find Washington's Lottery retail locations here.

More on Powerball:
Powerball is a multi-state jackpot game. If someone in Washington State wins the Powerball jackpot, others in Washington benefit, too. For example, if this Wednesday's Powerball jackpot winner is from Washington, the retail location that sold the ticket will receive a $50,000 selling bonus. In addition, proceeds from Washington's Lottery benefit the Washington Opportunity Pathways Account, which provides scholarships to college students statewide.
