Retailer Selling Bonuses Paid

Retailer selling bonuses are paid to the retailer who sold a winning jackpot ticket or who sold selected high tier winning tickets. Currently retailers are eligible for retailer bonuses in the following categories:

  • Lotto or Hit 5 - one percent (1%) of the winning jackpot
  • Powerball 2nd Tier ($200,000) - one percent (1%) of the winning ticket amount
  • Powerball - $50,000 bonus for a jackpot ticket
  • Mega Millions 2nd Tier ($250,000) - one percent (1%) of the winning ticket amount
  • Mega Millions - $50,000 bonus for a jackpot ticket
  • "Washington Millionaires" Scratch top tier ($1 million) - one percent (1%) of the winning ticket amount
  • Raffle top tier - one percent (1%) of the winning ticket amount

Below is a picture of Safeway Store #1528 in North Bend which sold the Mega Millions jackpot ticket. They received a retailer selling bonus of $50,000.

This next picture shows Casey’s Red Apple in Langley which sold a $3 million Lotto jackpot ticket. The retailer selling bonus was paid for $30,000.

And the Rosemere Tavern in Vancouver (below) sold the Hit 5 winning cashpot ticket and received a retailer selling bonus of $4,800.
