A man from Battleground stopped by Safeway (2615 NE 112th Ave, Vancouver, WA 98684) during his usual morning work break, when he decided to play a game of “Cash Spectacular” Scratch and won $1 million.

“I was so excited about winning that I asked my boss for the rest of the day off!” said the winner.

To celebrate his win, the man plans to take his wife for a delicious seafood lunch at Salty’s. Then, he said he plans to buy his wife a new car, perhaps a Mustang or Jeep, and use some money to close on a house they’ve had their eyes on for the past few months. The winner and his wife are also planning a trip to Hawaii. “We’re looking forward to relaxing on the beach and drinking fruity drinks,” said the winner.
