Washington’s Lottery Announces “Luckiest Stores” In Tri-Cities

Yoke’s Fresh Market on W 27th Ave in Kennewick Once Again Tops the “Luckiest Stores” List  

OLYMPIA – With St. Patrick’s Day upon us, Washington’s Lottery is sharing its “Luckiest Stores” – retail locations that have sold the most Scratch tickets with prizes worth over $1,000 or more in the previous calendar year. Washington’s Lottery has released a “Luckiest Stores” list for six regions around the state: Tri-Cities, Puget Sound, Olympic Peninsula, Eastern Washington, Southwest Washington, and Central Washington.

In the Tri-Cities, Yoke’s Fresh Market at 1410 W 27th Ave in Kennewick once again took the title for “Luckiest Store” in the Tri-Cities in 2017. The store shared the recognition with two other retailers in 2016.

The top 10 “Luckiest Stores” around the Tri-Cities are:

  • Six Big Wins: Yoke’s Fresh Market location at 1410 W 27th Ave in Kennewick
  • Five Big Wins: Safeway location at 1803 George Washington Way in Richland
  • Five Big Wins: Yoke’s Fresh Market at 4905 N Rd 68 in Pasco
  • Five Big Wins: One Stop Mart at 1903 Jadwin Ave in Richland
  • Three Big Wins: Circle K at 4201 W 27th Ave in Kennewick
  • Three Big Wins: Albertson’s at 690 Gage Blvd in Richland
  • Three Big Wins: 7-Eleven at 1540 Jadwin Ave in Richland
  • Three Big Wins: Maverik 5505 Rd 68 in Pasco
  • Three Big Wins: Yoke’s Fresh Market at 1401 Bombing Range Rd in West Richland
  • Three Big Wins: Yoke’s Fresh Market at 454 Keene Rd in Richland

When winners from the Tri-Cities Region were asked how they plan to spend the money, here is what they shared:

  • “I live near the Tri-City Union Gospel Mission and see the need the downtown community has for warm blankets, clothes, hats and scarves. I want to use my prize to supply those in need with the necessary resources to make the cold months more comfortable.” – Pasco resident
  • “I had a few items to pick up at the grocery and bought the ticket on a whim,” said the winner. The woman told Lottery officials that the prize money allows her to fulfill a lifelong dream of purchasing a beautiful manufactured home. – Richland resident
