KENMORE WOMAN PLANS A CRUISE TO THE BAHAMAS WITH $85,000 HIT 5 WIN

A trip to Safeway (6850 Bothell Way NE, Kenmore, WA 98028) has Kenmore resident Donna Zueger packing her suitcase for the Bahamas, after she purchased a Hit 5 ticket for the drawing on Saturday, May 20 and won.

Zueger took home half of the $170,000 Cashpot and the remaining $85,000 went to a man from Everett. When multiple players win the same Cashpot, the prize money is split evenly between the winners.

“I just want to cry because the feeling is so incredible,” said Zueger. “I thought maybe I’d won $100, but $85,000 is unreal!”

The winner’s mother and sister are going on a 10-day cruise to the Bahamas in September and Zueger plans to put her prize money toward relaxing with them on the water. Zeuger is also expecting a new grandbaby in August and plans to use her prize money to dote on him once he’s born.
