A celebratory lunch is in order for a woman from Port Orchard after winning $50,000 from a “High Roller” Scratch ticket she purchased from 7-Eleven (1800 Mile Hill Dr, Port Orchard, WA 98366). The lunch won’t be in celebration of her first-time Lottery win, but instead will be in honor of her father.

“My dad passed away a year ago today, so my aunt and I are going to use this prize money to go to lunch and celebrate his life,” said the winner. “We were extremely close and he’d be so excited about this win.”

When asked how she plans to spend her prize money, the woman told Washington’s Lottery officials she plans to put the majority of it into savings. The money will later go toward purchasing a new house in Port Orchard.
