Washington’s Lottery Announces its List of Luckiest Stores for Winners

OLYMPIA:
With St. Patrick’s Day right around the corner, Washington’s Lottery is helping players across the state find their pot of gold. Each year Washington’s Lottery names its “Luckiest Stores” – retailers that sold the most winning tickets of prizes worth $1,000 or more in the past year – from six regions around the state: Puget Sound, Olympic Peninsula, Tri-Cities, central Washington, southwest Washington and eastern Washington.

This year’s luckiest retailer in eastern Washington is Rosauers at 9414 North Division St. in Spokane having, sold the most winning tickets of prizes worth $1,000 or more in 2011.

Yoke’s Fresh Market on East Montgomery Avenue in Spokane Valley debuted on the list in second place this year. “We love our players,” explained the store manager, Terry Gonser. “We also think it’s important to have a great atmosphere for our customers. We recently had a large winner and all of our employees were so excited for him!”

Rounding out the top 10 retailers in eastern Washington are:

  • Rosauers at 9414 North Division St. in Spokane had 9 big wins

  • Yoke’s Fresh Market at 9329 East Montgomery Ave. in Spokane Valley had 8 big wins

  • Safeway at 1616 West Northwest Blvd. in Spokane also had 8 big wins

  • Yoke’s Foods at 210 East North Foothills Dr. in Spokane had 7 big wins

  • Safeway at 2507 West Wellesley Ave. in Spokane also had 7 big wins

  • Rosauers at 2610 East 29th Ave. in Spokane also had 7 big wins

  • Rosauers at 10618 East Sprague Ave. in Spokane Valley also had 7 big wins

  • Rosauers at 1808 West Third Ave. in Spokane had 6 big wins

  • Fred Meyer at 400 South Thor St. in Spokane also had 6 big wins

  • Rosauers at 1724 West Francis Ave. in Spokane also had 6 big wins
